Pause, resume, or remove a task
Pause, resume, end, or remove Synology Download Station tasks, and filter, search, and sort the task queue in Swads.
Open the task queue and select a task to control it. Which actions are available depends on the task's current state.
Task actions
- Resume continues a paused or waiting task.
- Pause stops an active task and keeps its progress.
- End stops a task that is downloading or seeding.
- Remove deletes the task from Download Station. Swads asks for confirmation before removal.
Information in the task list
Each task row shows the file name, total file size, downloaded and uploaded data, progress, current download and upload speed, and status. On Mac, you can show, hide, and reorder the task table columns so only the details you care about stay visible.
Filter and find tasks
You can:
- Filter by All, Downloading, Completed, Active, or Inactive
- Search task names
- Switch between ascending and descending order
- Sort by different fields
- Refresh the task queue manually on Mac
On Mac, Swads remembers the selected view, task status, sorting, and table columns.
Common task states
In addition to waiting, downloading, paused, completed, and seeding, Swads can show writing, checking, broken link, broken destination, quota reached, connection timeout, duplicate task, extraction failure, or invalid file. These states come from Download Station.
