How Swads connects to your NAS
Swads accesses the selected Synology NAS directly. Task lists, NAS overview data, and Download Station settings come from the current NAS and are not handled as documentation website data.

Where sign-in information is stored
- Your saved NAS connection settings can sync to other Apple devices through your private iCloud account.
- When Stay signed in is enabled, the password is encrypted in Apple Keychain and can use synchronizable Keychain.
- DSM sign-in sessions and device identifiers remain in the current device's Keychain.
- When Stay signed in is disabled, Swads does not persist the password.
Deleting a NAS configuration removes its connection settings, temporary data, and associated credentials. Because iCloud and Keychain synchronization take time, the change may not appear immediately on another device.

Swads is a third-party Synology Download Station client and is not affiliated with Synology.
